The Blue Fire

The Blue Fire is an interpretation of a Plains warrior. His accouterments include a hair ornament from the feathers of the crow, glass beads, a deer skin shirt, metal hoop earrings, and a Sun Dance whistle made from the wing bone of an eagle. The artist has wrapped the warrior in a buffalo robe symbolizing the inseparable relationship between the Native Americans and their natural world
