Description
“Even though I played many games of “One on One” with my friend, Del, we never did play my own back yard. We didn’t have a garage on which to hang a basket, that is, until my brother and I built one after returning from WWII. Besides I have shown Del characteristically hooking one past my futile attempt at a block. The time of day suggests we might have come home from school and were shooting a few rounds before supper, to which my mother appears about ready to call us.”
An excerpt from “Reflections” by– Charles Peterson
In the Charles Peterson “Memories Collection” many of the people are based on various personalities and in some cases, likenesses of his family members. Some of the locations and settings are memories from his hometown and family homes.
