Once again, Charles L. Peterson has captured an American tradition as only he can. It’s a perfect day for a Hey, what the…isn’t that the letter jacket from “One on One.” And the manikin from “A Stitch in Time.” And the old barber from “First Haircut.”
This ain’t no ordinary Yard Sale. Nope. The fact is, nearly everything (and everybody) in Yard Sale has appeared in a previous Memories painting — more than 65 items in all.
In the Charles Peterson “Memories Collection” many of the people are based on various personalities and in some cases, likenesses of his family members. Some of the locations and settings are memories from his hometown and family homes.
